Beachamwell - Set in the Brecklands of Norfolk Beachamwell has a rare Saxon Church which has a round tower and thatched roof. The village green is a conservation area and beside the green is the Pub serving excellent food.

Swaffham - 5 miles away is a typical Norfolk town with a good range of shops, a variety of Pubs and Restaurants and a Saturday Market. The local Leisure Centre, 18 hole Golf Course, Squash Courts and Trout Fishery are all within 15 minutes drive.

Norwich - The ancient and picturesque capital of Norfolk, is less than 30 miles away. It has stylish shops, Mediæval Streets and Houses, a magnificent Cathedral and the Castle which now houses the museum and library.

Local Attractions - Beachamwell Church, Oxborough Hall, Cockley Cley Iceni Village, Ecotech and the famous Wind Turbine are all within 5 miles of Beachamwell.

Other Attractions - National Trust Properties, Butterfly Farms, Zoos, the North Norfolk Coast, Grimes Graves (Neolithic Flint Mines), Thetford Forest, East Wretham Heath and other Nature Reserves, Karting at North Pickenham, Flying at Shipdham, Horse Riding, Boating and Cycling at Brandon, Motor Racing at Snetterton, Wild Fowl Trusts at Welney and Pensthorpe, Sandringham and the Broads are all easy Day Trips.

Cycling is very pleasant in Norfolk's quite lanes and we can help you with route planning for day long tours. Cycling the field tracks and forestry roads of Beachamwell Warren is fun too, Mountain Bikes are more suitable and we have a small selection for hire.

For information on cycle routes in the area click here.

Walking is very pleasant along the local tracks or the long distance Peddars Way and Coastal Paths. Whatever you decide to do, we know that you will return once you have discovered Norfolk.

Cross Country Running is another enjoyable pursuit as there are many tracks, footpaths and bridleways.
