Access Policy for The Old Rectory Beachamwell
Our self catering accommodation is on the ground floor and contained within the Old Rectory Beachamwell. We have tried to give guests as much information as possible in this statement, please call or email if you need further assistance.
Bookings should be made by phone or email.
There are two buses a week from the village, one to Kings Lynn on a Tuesday and one to Swaffham on Saturday. The nearest railway station is Downham Market which is 9 miles away, there is no bus from Downham to the village but taxis are available. Food shopping can be delivered by arrangement.
There is a secure carpark with security lights approx 20m from the door of the apartment, gravel drive to the patio door which can be opened to allow wheelchair access.
The kitchen/dining area is on one level which is open plan. The cooker has a side opening door, the sink has a cupboard underneath, but there are no cupboards over the sink.
The area evenly lit with spot lights above work surfaces. The fridge has a small freezer compartment. Fire extinguisher is located by front door. Vinyl flooring throughout. Round Ercol table with space around for 4 chairs.
There is a step into the room, also step into shower cubicle (no hand rails provided). There is a free standing sink and low level toilet. Flotex flooring throughout.
Bedsit and Lounge Area
There is a step up into this area. It has a double divan bed 5 foot wide with fire proof label, there is space around the bed for movement. Non feather duvet and pillows are provided and bed covers are cotton/polyester. There is a wide screen TV with digibox, DVD and Video, all with remote controls. There is a double bed settee, 2 Ercol armchairs and footstools. Furniture is moveable and all non feather. Short pile carpet throughout.
There is a Smoke alarm, the apartment has WiFi Internet access, the area has mobile phone reception but it is very poor. Additional information is available in the holiday information pack.
